Unblended Development Lot - Experimental Fermentation
Unblended Development Lot - Experimental Fermentation
Unblended works with young coffee producers in Colombia and guides them in the creation of their own coffee projects. They work as an exporter to give producers access to international markets, pair young producers with experienced mentors, and offer guidance in coffee production, processing, and fermentation.
The Development Lot is the result of that: every few months, Unblended provides a place for producers to experiment with small batches of their coffee. Then they cup these lots together and offer one another feedback. The goal is for each producer to continue to develop their processing techniques, then eventually scale and offer their lots as single origin offerings. The lots that were used for experimenting end up being blended together into the Development Lot. The result is a very bright, fruit-forward coffee.
We taste notes of: Watermelon Candy, Tart Cherry, & White Grape
*All coffee is roasted to order every Tuesday. Orders placed before 8am on Tuesdays will be roasted Tuesday and shipped on Wednesday.
